Step 3: Signing in to the One software

When you launch the ONE system software, you'll quickly see the sign-in page. You must complete this process successfully before you can proceed.

If you forget your sign-in credentials…

Most software support guides suggest contacting your system administrator if you forget your sign-in credentials. If you're a staff member in a multi-user clinic, that applies here too.

However, if you’re the sole administrator or the only person in your subscription, don’t worry—just email tech-support@wds-global.com and we’ll respond as quickly as possible. Please help us verify your identity by including any relevant details in your message. For example, if you're emailing from a different address than the one linked to your account, let us know.

Repeatedly typing the wrong password (just so you know)

The ONE system allows up to ten incorrect password attempts before temporarily locking your account. This lock resets at midnight GMT, so you can try again the next day. Alternatively, email tech-support@wds-global.com to help clear the lock and reset your password.

On a serious note, the software may be used in environments where safeguarding is important. To help protect sensitive data, password entry is required at every sign-in. Impaired judgement can lead individuals to misuse the system, so for security reasons, you must enter your password every time you sign in. There is no option to remember passwords between sessions.

Security Suggestions
  1. Please choose a strong password for the ONE system—and for your Windows login too. Weak passwords like “password”, “mypassword”, or “Smith” (especially if your surname is Smith) are not recommended. A better password includes letters, numbers, and special characters. For example:
    Apple%sauce$1808$
Now that it’s been mentioned, please don’t actually use Apple%sauce$1808$ — someone inevitably will…
  2. The ONE software doesn’t include a built-in “lock” feature for client sessions. Instead, we recommend following the same protocol used by banks: press CTRL+ALT+DEL and select Lock. This prevents unauthorised access while you're away. If someone were to access the ONE software, they could view sensitive client data—a serious breach of privacy. If I could play ominous music while you read that last sentence, I would.
